Hello!

The version 0.4.2-0 was released. In this version we have a new option: WEB. RemoteTracker now have a web server (thank's to Binary64).

You can create an account in the server and send your emergency information to the server.

After a hardreset, RT will search for a configuration backup. If that backup can't be found, RT will get your emergency configuration from the web server. So, if the thief changed your card, you will be able to get the message alerting you about the changed SIM. The informations sent to the web are: IMEI number, knows IMSI numbers, emergency phone numbers and emergency e-mail address.

This feature was designed to help ROM cockers to create generic custom ROMs without personal configurations.

Hello all. After a long time I released a new version. The change log is:

Fixes
- Fixed issues to exclude SIM cards informations;
- Fixed issue of intercepting SMS in some devices according to the site: http://peterfoot.net/FixSMSInterceptionOnTMobileDash.aspx Thank's to snowkilts;
- Fixed issue when CALLHIST command is used and the call history is empty;
- Fixed messages sent. They was not respecting the translation and was always in english;

Changed
- Changed the place where debug files are stored. Now that files will be stored in TEMP folder;
- FINDME command changed. When the user click NO, no answer will be sent to prevent spending money with SMS;
- CELLID command changed. Now it will also return the position based on CellID information;
- CB command changed. Now the volume will become maximum and speaker phone will be turned on;

New
- Chinese partial translation;
- Italian translation;
- New SMS interception method used to fix HTC HD2 issue. Now that users must use rt2# header instead of rt#;
- New option: CellID to Coordinate Provider: OpenCellID, Google Maps, CellDB. This is the provider to be used to find the current coordinate based on CellID when GPS information is not available. IMPORTANT: Google Maps does not have official support and it is experimental;
- New command: delcard. This command will delete all the unprotected files stored in Memory Cards;
- New commands: esms or fsms. That command send to you (by e-mail or ftp) a zip file with your full sms history;
- New commands: eoutlook or foutlook. That command send to you (by e-mail or ftp) a zip file with your outlook contacts and appointments;
- New feature: now the user can type a secret question/answer (in Menu/Options/Password) to retrieve a lost password;
- New command: lostpass. This command sends a SMS to user with the Secret Question defined in Config Application. This command don't need password;
- New command: secret. This command receive the secret answer. If this is correct the user will receive a SMS with the password. This command uses an extra parameter and don't need password: rt#secret,#;
- New feature: now you can select emergency number or e-mail looking for outlook/sim contacts. Just click Menu/Outlook;

RTRegCreator
- Fixed RGU format to be added in custom ROMs;
- Added new option: CellID to Coordinate Provider: OpenCellID, Google Maps, CellDB;
- Added options to type the Secret Question/Answer;

RTRemote
- The Set Password and Save Fields menu Itens is now under Options menu;
- New RTRemote option: Use RT# or RT2# header for HD2 users;
- Addedd new commands: delcard, esms, fsms, eoutlook, foutlook, lostpass, secret;
- Fixed minor usage issues;

displayed and a predefined message will be sent to your four emergency numbers and to your four emergency e-mail with your current position.
The message will be sent again and again. The only way to stop the process is a softreset. Both message and interval between messages is
defined in Config. 5 minutes is default.

What is new in this version:

Hello all! This release has a few modifications. In first place there is a greek translation. Thanks to drageloth from http://www.eten-users.eu.

The second one is an integration with AppToDate. This application verify if configured softwares are up to date or not. If not, you are alerted, and invited to download the new version! Very cool and useful.

After install AppToDate, please download V0.10i and run RTConfig or softreset your device to RT make the configure AppToDate.

Hi all. Another release (10h)

Some people are asking me if they can track their devices using web. Instead of make a webservice I'm thinking to keep it simple.

So, we can use the website of our network provider and send a SMS from this site to our phone. If the configuration of destinator e-mail acount points to an e-mail service able to be accessed by a browser, we can control RT using internet.

But, previous version of RT only work if the SMS starts with RT#. Now, if the message has RT# anywhere in body, the command will be processed.

This version correct a GPS bug for some devices.

I added a new tool: RTTest. Put this .exe file in the same directory as RT if you want to make tests without pay SMSs.
This tool calls RT.exe passing parameters and rt process these parameters.
There is an options called Fake Command. With this option rt will answer using a dialog box instead of sms or e-mail.

Hello all. This version has some features for ROM cookers. Now is possible to put RT inside custom ROMs and make it hard reset safe! Another tools was added to be used with a PC to create a DLL with the configuration. ROM cookers can add this DLL to RT folder and when SMSLauncher run at first time, the configuration is restored.
There is others modifications, please see the change log.

Hi all. In this version I correct a small bug in SIM card change detection. When the SIM card was changed and you must enter then PIN number to the new one, RT did not wait to send the SMS and the message never works. Now RT will try several times to send the message (about 5 minutes).

German version is now included. Thanks to Kasjopaja from XDA developers!

The changes:

Alias for commands:
- cb = callback;
- gp, egp = getposition, egetposition;
- elt = elogtrack
- pb, epb = phonebool, ephonebook.

New commands:
- go, ego, getowner, egetowner = get 'settings/owner' informations. Will be useful if the thief or so change that;
- rst, reset = softreset device;
- dkz, delkmz= delete all kmz files;
- dsc, delsim = delete all contacts in SIM card;

New features:
- NONE of features are importante if the SIM card is change. Now RT can detect changes and them send SMS alert to default number. When you upgrade RT, start the program and you will see in Config TAB your IMSI (the ID of your SIM card). If you change this card, go back to this tab and press Refresh button. When the device is turned on (after a softreset) or when the battery is put back, RT will verify this IMSI number.

Changes:
- The elt command log file will use the altitude information from GPS. In version 5x I used 50 meters by default. Now, if you live or visit high areas you will see the trace in Google Earth;
- This log will be sent as KMZ instead of KML file;
- Use sender number as default for returning SMSs. Now the default number only works for SIM change, as emergency number.

Changes in this version:

- Renamed to RTConfig (good suggestion from Sergy71). The name was to much clear for nerds thiefs :) ;
- Removed from uninstall to keep it hidden;
- Password screen when you enter RTConfig and you had this setting;
- New command: ELT (E-Mail Log Track). This command will start GPS, Log the path about 5 minutes and send the KML file by e-mail. This file can be opened with Google Earth. Very cool.

- Two more commands: pb e epb. Use them to receive your contacts stored in SIM card back. If you do not take the phone back, at least the contacts will be saved.
- Popy translated RemoteTracker to Spanish and now he is the first contributor to the project. Welcome!
- The SMS sent with coordinates was truncated to fit in one single message. By e-mail the message was the same;
- The bug with configuration was solved. Now when you exit and come back to RemoteTracker your configuration will be ok.

Hello people! In this version I did some changes and two new commands:

- The main screen was redesigned to fit in squared screens;
- If no command is informed a help will be sent;
- Now the answer may be to an e-mail account! A new tab was added to main screen called 'E-Mail'. Here you can define a default account to send e-mails, default recipient (name and e-mail address) and a Subject. To receive informations by e-mail use these commands:

- 'ehelp' same as 'help';
- 'egp' same as 'gp'.

- I also add an 'About' tab to thanks the people who help this project.

Hi there! This is my first project in Sourceforge and I'm very happy to be here.
This project is a work in progress. I will not stop here. In future versions I will try:

- Integrate with Google Maps Mobile to get current address based on GPS position;
- Create others commands, like:
- Start GPS and send message from time to time;
- Stop GPS;
- Destroy personal data;
- Create a log with GPS changes;
- Send message by e-mail;
- Detect SIM card change;
- Log audio data (integrating with Audio Note).

I'll apreciate to see reviews, comments and suggestions.
